Our in depth Carbon Literacy training, accredited by The Carbon Literacy Project, has been delivered to hundreds of employees

Our Carbon Literacy training is accredited by The Carbon Literacy Project and consists of a day’s worth of learning.

They can be delivered online and in-person and over one or more days. After completing the course, participants can receive a certificate certifying them as “Carbon Literate”.

We have three accredited Carbon Literacy courses – one for local authorities, one for the financial services sector and one for community groups – with each one tailored to the specific challenges and opportunities of the relevant sector.

We have now delivered Carbon Literacy training to hundreds of employees across a diverse range of organisations, including Lloyds Bank, HSBC, Islington Council and local community groups.

Why Carbon Literacy training?

Carbon Literacy training gets everyone in an organisation on the same page when it comes to climate change. It can also help to fine tune the knowledge and skills of people who already work in sustainability.

The training imparts the gravity of the situation, but also inspires action by sharing advice and examples from elsewhere. By looking at our predicament and how we can plot a course to a more hopeful world, Carbon Literacy training can be a powerful galvanising force.

It also intended to be engaging as well as informative. The training is delivered using a mixture of presentation and group exercises, which allow participants to learn through discussion and idea sharing.

All attendees can receive a certificate from The Carbon Literacy Project, certifying them as Carbon Literate. The accredited nature of the course and the certificate can help drive internal buy-in and attendance of the training.
